AYSO EXTRA is designed for players who have the interest, skills and abilities and desire to enhance their experience and individual growth while retaining the spirit of the game and membership in AYSO.  All EXTRA programs embrace the Six Philosophies of AYSO.

The EXTRA program is intended for players and families who want more than a casual weekend soccer experience.  Region 87 is committed to player development. Our EXTRA format will include professional training for all players in the program.

• Weekly training by a professional trainer designed with the team's coach to meet the needs of the team.
• Weekly group skills training to build a foundation of proper form and technique.
• Weekly group goal keeper specific training (if available)

The EXTRA program is a tryout-based program for children playing in 9U-15U.  All players wishing to play EXTRA must be present for at least one tryout.
